October 14 – Youth Club returns finally and we are looking forward to this first session. We are so lucky to have 3 volunteers already! They hope to come on the night and we have LYS’s Mary Duhig to show us how a evening might run. We hope to have some fun and games and set out all the things we hope to do for the coming months so that we all know what is happening and what we have to look forward to. Hope to see Parents and Teens tomorrow night from 8-9pm in DSL.
October 17 – reminder to branch officers that the Munster Branch Officers is taking place in DSL from 7.30pm. All officers for this year are welcome to attend.
October 23 – We are delighted to announce that DSL Art classes created a 2020 Calendar this year – it is complete and ready to launch! We are proud and grateful to Sharon Le Gear for all the work she has done to help us put this calendar together. She has also organized for DSL to show the wonderful public of Limerick our children’s Art Work – the original large works will be on display from 6-7pm on Wednesday October 23 in the Church of the Limerick Art College on Clare Street in Limerick. Please feel free to share this event on FACEBOOK, Instagram and LinkedIN – all of the members of the public are welcome to attend and the Dean of the Limerick Art College will be saying a few words. Our children have put so much work in and they are very proud of their achievement. Please come and support our youngest members. 2020 Calendars will available to purchase on the night for €5, they will make great stocking fillers and gifts for Grans and Granddads and godparents and teachers/SNAs.
